Dalwhinnie

The Inn Dalwhinnie, also known as Tiki Café is located a few miles south of the cottages in Dalwhinnie at the entrance to the Cairngorm National Park, definitely our first choice for some grub. The restaurant has an international menu and an eclectic blend of traditional Scottish food and international flavors from around the world. It is mellow and friendly, over looking the River Truim and the Cairngorms beyond, and has free high speed wireless internet access which you can enjoy in the cafe/restaurant while sipping on great coffee made from organic free trade beans.

It is a must for a quiet bite to eat or a fulfilling evening meal if you can’t face cooking one evening. It also has a great range of whiskeys from the local and afar….a good place to meet fellow hardcore walkers & mountain bikers!  We particularly recommend that you try the noodle dishes !

If your up for it, there is a great walk over Cruben Beag from the cottages to Dalwhinnie and the Tiki, it take about 3 hrs, great if you can get some to meet you there for the a lift home after a few drinks.
