Guided Tour of Highland Holiday Cottages

     Cottages Disabled Facilities

Crubenbeg Highland Holiday Cottages work closely with CaRE and Disabled Holiday Info who are a national network of rural and farm-based self-catering providers offering specialist holiday accommodation for disabled people, older people, carers and their families.

We have adapted
Pine Cottage to meet the needs of disabled guests. Naturally, Pine offers you the same top class, comfortable accommodation as all our other cottages, it shares the same stunning views across the valley. We are proud to say that we have been awarded Category 2 for offering accessibility to guests right up to assisted wheelchair status. Full details on category two can be found by clicking here.

Throughout, the cottage has been carefully modified to meet the needs of guests with disabilities and on arrival, you can take advantage of the large dedicated parking area just outside the cottage. From here a gentle ramp takes you up to the entrance on the other side of which is your hallway. This connects through to the level access to the rest of the cottage. Turning right from your entrance, there’s the really spacious bedroom with plenty of room for a wheelchair to get about. You enjoy all the usual features & comforts, of course, and the fact that all the facilities & equipment in the bedroom have been planned & positioned with the needs of disabled guests in mind. A short trip takes you into your roomy en-suite bathroom where you’ll find a wash hand basin, a full sized bath and a separate large shower cubicle offering full wheelchair access with a special seat, should you need it. Moving back through the bedroom, into the hallway, you’ll find the spacious kitchen with easy, level access through to the living room.
